I’m a sophomore multimedia journalism major with a writing minor, but music is one of my other greatest passions in life. I started playing flute in fifth grade and haven’t stopped since. Along the way, I’ve also dabbled in piccolo, percussion and piano.
I’ve performed in my middle school’s and my high school’s concert bands, my high school’s marching band, my hometown’s community band, county band, district band, regional band, college wind ensemble, college symphonic band, college marching band, college flute studio and I recently joined my college’s flute choir.
The goal of this blog is to share news and insight into the world of music. I hope to be inclusive of those new to music as well as those with some or more experience.
